Death of an Intolerant Figure

No reason to mourn intolerant man’s death
It is illogical to mourn the death of someone who openly wished for yours. While I do not celebrate his
death, I cannot ignore the poetic justice in it.

Charlie Kirk wanted me and many people I love and care about dead — executed on public television.

He called for gay people to be stoned to death on live TV. He argued that slavery was a “good” thing because, according
to him, Black people “committed fewer crimes” and had “better values” during it.

He distorted statistics, cherry-picked studies, and twisted Scripture to fuel his hate tour across college campuses, disguising it all as “debate.”

I will not mourn the death of someone who despised without even knowing me. I will not mourn a man who wanted people like me eradicated simply because of who we are.

There is undeniable irony in the fact that he was publicly executed
